Introducing BLT's Wine of the Week (No.13)

Tamino 2008
AOC Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame
Domaine de la Paleine

This week Gérald has selected Tamino 2008, 100% cabernet franc, produced by Domaine de la Paleine as his wine of the week

The result of a hand picked harvest, a maceration of 21 days, and a fermentation in brand new French oak barrels for a further 14 months has created a beautifully rounded, full bodied oaked red wine with a lovely silkiness.

Tamino 2008 is being served alongside filet mignon de porc poelée paysannes, and as a popular choice Les Tontons has only a limited number of this vintage left.
